What is The Landscaping School

The Landscaping School is a collection of online courses where you can learn certain elements of landscape construction.

The self-paced online courses are all taught by Joel Barnett of InStyle Gardens and The Landscaping Podcast. Joel has been landscaping for 23 years and teaches the methods he’s learnt and refined over those years. The most valuable part of each course is the ability to be able to get 1 to 1 feedback directly with Joel, whether it’s a question about the course or one that arises when putting your learnings into action.

There are currently 7 different courses within The Landscaping School, 1 of which is free to use so that you can get an understanding of the course layout and the teaching method and decide if it’s what you’re looking for. There are also video previews of each course to give you the best idea on what’s included in each course.

These courses are ideal for three different groups of people:

  • Landscapers looking to increase their skills or get confirmation that they’re on the right track with their current techniques

  • Garden maintenance professionals who want to add a string to their bow and be able to earn more money on the projects they’re already working on or saying yes to new ones.
